I’m hoping all of you wanting an air fryer received one from Santa! Now that the holidays are past us and you have time to try out your air fryer – reach for the bag of Brussels sprouts you’ve been avoiding and try out this recipe!
When I say I can eat a whole bag of brussels sprouts after they’re cooking in the air fryer, I know you think I’m lying. I’m not. Literally, a whole bag from Trader Joe’s, gone in minutes. I haven’t truly decided if it’s embarrassing or impressive, just please don’t judge me until you try them!
If you truly aren’t a fan of Brussels sprouts, this is also a great recipe to follow for sweet potatoes, potatoes or broccoli. I promise, cooking vegetables in the air fryer is superior to cooking vegetables any other way. Give it a try and leave me a comment with what you think!
Air fryer Brussels Sprouts
- 1 bag Brussels sprouts
- oil (coconut or avocado for best results)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic power
-
Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees
-
Chop the Brussels sprouts in half and remove the stem
-
Toss the Brussels sprouts in enough oil to have a thin layer, mix in salt, pepper and garlic salt
-
Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. I normally do 15 minutes because I like mine very crispy. Take out the basket and toss the brussels sprouts around at the 5-minute mark. This will allow them to be cooked more evenly.
